The Family League Superbowl faces off two opposing teams both with 10+ wins this season. A big week 17 is ahead which includes the all-star game for those interested in playing.
The league has had another excellent year. Even with the over abundance of injuries this season, owners were able to coach creatively to remain competitive. With the updated automated draft process this season, the pre-season ran much smoother this year. With that and some performance improvements, I believe this season was a success! There have some owner suggestions detailing minor changes that will be discussed at the awards banquet. I would like to thank all of the CBD Members and your Conference Leaders, Jim Szczesniak, Bob Bryk and Lori Griffin, for helping me out during the season with league decisions, communications and weekly updates to keep the division rivalries alive and providing verbal entertainment for the entire league. I especially want to thank all of the owners for participating because without you, the league would not exist. I hope everyone enjoyed playing this year and hope to see everyone return next season.
The league awards will be calculated in January for the current season! Once complete, if you go to your Team page and click on the View Awards link, you will see your team's awards. More importantly, if you click on the Modify Team and Owner Data link from your Team page, you will see an important field towards the bottom labeled Proceed Distribution. In the Proceed Distribution row, please enter the amount you wish to have Awarded to you, Donated to the website, or Held for next season (or for future activities such as the Superbowl Squares or NCAA basketball tournament) and click Submit to save your changes. If you place an amount in the Award field, please confirm your address information is correct on your account so that the award package will reach you.
The annual Fantase Football Banquet is tentatively scheduled for January. Awards, superbowl trophies, conference plaques, rule change discussions and league updates are all on the agenda. Friends and family are welcome to attend. A Sez17 invite will come via email shortly.
Lastly, as Commissioner of the ENC Fantase Football League, I would like to thank every owner for playing this past year and hope to see you all next season!
